As the blossom and upgrading of love, Wedding day is the most exciting moment in everyone’s life. On the wedding day, we exclusively hope everything works perfect. There is no exception that you’ll want your wedding shoes to be absolutely perfect – they look fantastic with your wedding dress, have the perfect heel, – in fact, you’re in love. But no matter how great you are, you’ll curse them on your wedding day if they make you miserable. These following tips will help you prepare a superb wedding shoes.

Comfortable Size

The perfect wedding shoes must be comfortable. On the big day, you should make sure your wedding shoes aren’t killing your feet. A few days before your wedding, you should try wearing your bridal shoes around the house and gradually increase the time you wear it till you are certain that you can walk freely with them.

Fitful heel

The heel height of your wedding shoes is of the most importance. Your dress will be fitted to accommodate the height of your bridal shoes, and if you’re not comfortable in really high heels, your wedding may not be the best time to try them out.

You want to elongate your leg, but you aren’t used to stilettos, you can consider platform heels, or lower kitten heels. And, of course, if you prefer a flat, satin ballet slipper make beautiful bridal shoes.

Stylish Shoes of Yourself

Actually, your shoes should be well-matched to your dress and the situation of your wedding; they should also reflect your personal style. For example, a funky, trendy bride might consider bridal shoes with chunky heels; while a romantic at heart might love a pair of lacy white “granny boots” as her bridal shoes. Your day, your style!

More  Comfortable Shoes for Your Wedding

You may decide that for your reception, you’d like to wear a more comfortable pair of shoes. If this is the case, be sure that your second pair of shoes have the same heel height as your actual wedding shoes. This will insure that your dress doesn’t drag the ground while you’re dancing or socializing.

Wedding Shoes and Floor Surfaces

The aisle you’ll be walking down may be carpeted, or you may find that the reception hall has slick floors. Either surface can be difficult to walk or dance on, especially in your wedding shoes. You might want to consider adding self-adhesive sole pads to the bottoms of your shoes for added traction; alternatively, you can use sandpaper to scuff the soles.

After your careful preparing, let’s launch wedding ceremony and enjoy the happiness with the selected bridal shoes.

As a bride, it is very important for you to prepare a special cosmetic bag to anticipate emergency situations such as:

Face shining like dew on the wedding day was gorgeous. But it is different if the skin looks shiny due to excess oil production. Make sure you provide an oil absorbent paper to maintain a fresh face glow all day.

Wedding day is of greater importance in the lives of people. All girls are highly conscious for this mega event. I advise all girls to take special skin care at least one month before the wedding day to look more attractive, fresh and beautiful. Follow the tips given below and get elegant look with fewer cosmetics:

1). Re plan your diet schedule and add fresh juices and healthy diet. Live tension free and try to be happy all the time. Morning walk is a best tool to get freshness.

2). Drink plenty of water to get fresh and tight skin to look young and fresh.

3). Do regular oiling of your hair and take care of hands and feet. Do home manicure and pedicure one a week. To learn method of manicure and pedicure read the post “Do Manicure and Pedicure at Home” in hands and feet care category on this blog.

4). Rub olive oil on nails in round movements and use gloves while working in the garden or washing dishes.

5). Do cleansing of your skin and apply packs made of lemon, haldi, sandalwood and besan. Mix powder of these things in milk or rose water and apply on skin on daily basis minimum 15 days before marriage.

6). Apply henna mixture by mixing amla, shikakai, reetha, egg white and tea water. Apply this paste once half a month. Leave the mixture for one night before applying and leave on your hair for two to three hours to get shiny and silky hair.

7). Consult the beautician in advance and ask her for special skin care tips as per nature of your skin and have two to three professional facials by that beautician. Wash your face with cold water mixing rose water after every treatment.

8). Your eyes must look very fresh and clear. For this purpose put 2 or 3 drops of rose water two to three times a day in your eyes. It will make your eyes look fresher.
Pre-wedding care
Every woman wants to look gorgeous and beautiful on her wedding day. She wants her skin to glow with radiance and glamour. She wants to look her best and to shine like a bright star. Well if you want your skin to glow and to have a very soft and delicate skin you will have to follow this regime atleast a month before your wedding day.

First and foremost you need to know your skin type in order to soothe and nourish your skin for a healthful and radiant complexion.

SKIN TYPES

Oily Skin
Oily skin is caused by over-active glands, which produce a substance called Asebum, a naturally healthy skin lubricant. When the skin produces too much sebum, it becomes thick and heavy in texture. Oily skin is characterized by shininess, pimples and blemishes. Frequent steam cleaning and exfoliation can help reduce these symptoms.
Dry Skin
Dry skin usually results when skin fails to produce enough sebum to maintain a naturally lubricated surface.

This lack of oil in the skin is often hereditary, but can also be caused by over-exposure to the sun and other environmental elements. Dry skin often appears coarse, tight, dull and flaky, with visible lines and wrinkles. Massage with essential and cold pressed oils can stimulate metabolism and alleviate dry skin conditions.

Normal Skin
Normal skin produces a healthy amount of sebum, and tends to be neither dry nor oily in feel. It needs proper cleansing and massage.

Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin reacts unfavourably to a variety of chemicals and environmental factors. Increased exposure to sun, wind and cold, as well as to harsh cosmetic ingredients, tend to toughen skin over time.

Combination Skin
Many people have different skin types on different parts of the face. For example, it is not uncommon for a person to have oily skin around the nose, forehead and chin, while the rest of the face is more on the dry side. If you have more than one skin type on your face, it is wise to use products containing different ingredients to treat the areas differently.

YOUR STEP BY STEP AT-HOME FACIAL

A basic facial must include at least 3 elements: (1) cleansing; (2) toning; and (3) moisturising. Additional steps might include steaming, exfoliating and masking. Each of these steps is outlined below.

Step 1
Before cleansing your skin with a gentle cleanser, it is wise to give yourself a light steam treatment to open your pores and prepare your face for cleaning. To do this, simply soak a soft towel in a bowl of comfortably warm herbal tea (chamomile is one of my favorites). Wring out the towel and place it over your face and neck area and relax until it cools slightly. You may repeat this process, as it is quite soothing.

Step 2
Cleanse your face with a good Cleanser. Use upward, circular movements of the fingertips to gently stimulate the skin and help lift surface debris and excess oil. Rinse with warm water and gently pat excess moisture from face with a soft towel. If you wear heavy make-up, you might wish to repeat the cleansing process.

Step 3
After cleansing, it is important to tone the skin using ingredients that help balance the pH of the skin, which is typically disturbed during the cleansing process. Apply the toner with a soft cotton pad, but do not rub the skin. Rather, saturate the pad and pat the toner over the face and neck area. Do not pat skin dry. Avoid eye area when using this toner. You skin is now ready for moisturising.

Step 4
Moisturise your skin using Aromatic Facial Oil, which contains a host of soothing ingredients to add moisture and nutrients to your skin. To seal in the moisture, be sure to apply the oil while skin remains damp from applying the toner. Gently apply the oil to your face and neck using patting motions. For oily areas of skin, one application of oil should suffice. Apply twice to dry areas of skin, waiting about 2-3 minutes between applications, and being sure to moisten the skin slightly with water or toner before the second application.

Step 5
Finally, if you want you can finish off with a gentle exfoliation and mask to your treatment. Persons with oily skin may find exfoliation beneficial once or twice a week, while people with dry skin may wish to exfoliate only once a month.

2 drops rose essential oil
3 drops lavender essential oil
2 drops geranium essential oil
2 drops palmarosa essential oil

In a glass bowl or dish, combine oils with essential oils. Stir with a clean pop sickle stick or plastic utensil to combine. Pour into a clean bottle, preferably one with a medicine dropper so you can apply the oil using the dropper. After cleansing and toning, and while skin remains a bit damp, apply a bit of the moisturizer using gentle patting motions. Do not rub the oil into the skin. Oats & Aloe Exfoliant

1 tablespoon finely ground almonds
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel

Creamy Facial Mask
2 tablespoons white clay (recommended: kaolin)

If mixture is not smooth enough, add a bit more hydrosol. Spread over clean face as the step immediately preceding application of facial toner, avoiding eye area and lips. Rest for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm, water and pat excess water from face.

To eat, drink and be merry! That’s the real reason guests love attending wedding receptions. Because food and fun go hand in hand, many couples plan their wedding food and wedding drinks at the same time they’re planning the reception. And even though the majority of wedding receptions are held during the evening, this doesn’t have to be the case with yours.

If you’re working on a tight budget, instead of planning a nighttime sit down-style reception, consider arranging a morning, brunch, lunch, or cocktail reception. They can be just as festive, but at a fraction of the cost. To set the tone, select a location with a pleasant daytime view. If you prefer an evening reception, a buffet dinner will cost less than a sit-down dinner as will a paid bar versus an open bar.

You need to plan your wedding food and drinks well ahead, at least 6 – 12 months in advance of the big day. Oftentimes, the reception location is selected because of the fact that the wedding food and non-alcoholic drinks are offered as part of the package price. And while these venues may not create the wedding cake, they will often refer a wedding cake specialist. At a minimum, you’ll find they offer cake cutting/serving services.

There are, however, a number of reception locations that will require the services of a caterer. If this is your situation, it’s important to check whether cooking facilities are available at the reception location. If not, the caterer may have to rent what is needed, which will add to your costs as these fees will ultimately be passed on to you.

Most couples think only to deal with creating the menu, not the logistical end of catering including servers. Neglecting the details can lead to problems and cost overruns down the road. A good caterer will help you through the details, but you should know what to ask as well.

Most couples will break their wedding food budget down into a cost-per-person basis. The goal is to get as much quality food as you can while spending the least amount possible. You have lots of food options and if you’re planning the food and the wedding/reception simultaneously, you have time options like those noted above which can lower your wedding food costs significantly.

When it comes to wedding drinks, non-alcoholic beverages will be your least expensive option (although you still should have champagne for a toast) and you’ll find that they’re often included with the price of the wedding food. If you’re going to serve alcoholic beverages, you have more decisions to make including open bar or paid, wine and beer or full liquor service.

As for the wedding cake, again, the costs are typically determined on a per head basis. It used to be that you ordered your multi-tier, one flavor cake with plastic statue on top from a baker but nowadays, you can actually have your wedding cake custom-created by a cake designer! That’s just one more thing to think about when planning your wedding budget.

Very few women dream to get married in the midst of light showers during the monsoon, especially women and the romantic dreamer exists. Without a doubt, nothing could be more romantic than an exchange of wedding vows at the time of year, nice and cute. But this will require some effort to make Monsoon Wedding a memorable and enjoyable. As for this season here is also happens to be messy it takes a lot of foresight and planning to start Monsoon Wedding. One of the most important things to consider is the ideal choice for a wedding the groom and the bride’s dress so it looks the best on this special day in her life.

Regardless of the time of marriage, the bride Lehenga Choli, no doubt, must be very beautiful. But at the same time, it should be adapted to the rainy season. Beautiful Bridal Lehenga cholis open in lush fabrics and traditional embroidery saris Zardozi those to be avoided. It is not only difficult to manage, a few drops of rain are harmless can actually spoil the look of the place is still strong. The fabric and fit are the two main issues for consideration. Flared silhouette, which includes a lot of fabric, will be completely unmanageable in this season, and disorder.

Choose wedding rings carefully - you'll be wearing them for the rest of your life. Wedding rings symbolize three things: your personality, your commitment, and your fashion style. Choose a wedding ring that will express an enduring, unequivocal love and exert a unique personality for both the groom and the bride
1-Shop together. The engagement ring was the big surprise, but you should decide on wedding rings together. Many women already know what they want on their wedding ring, so sitting down and talking can help get both spouses on the same page.
2-Decide on matching or separate bands. It is possible to buy wedding rings together so they coordinate, but it is not absolutely necessary. For example, if a man is concerned with a ring appearing too effeminate he can get a different style from the woman.
3- Match it to the engagement ring. Many people will wear their engagement ring and wedding band together. Having something to match it to will help you make your decision. You may want to visit the same jeweler you got the engagement ring from, or look into it when you are shopping for engagement rings.
4- Consider your lifestyle. Rings should adorn and accentuate your hands, not hinder them. If you use your hands a lot for manual labor and you do not want to scuff up your stone or damage your ring, consider a low setting or a hard stone. Conversely, if you live a life of leisure and you want to flaunt your luxurious diamond, get it set high and flashy and let it bling.
5- Choose a stone. You already know all about the 4 C's from buying the engagement ring (if not, check the resources box below), so you should be comfortable with buying a diamond. However, feel free to consider other stones. Look into the meanings of certain stones and the hardness.
6-Choose a band metal. The three most popular are yellow gold, white gold and platinum. White gold is popular because it coordinates with both silver and gold and is less expensive than platinum (which does the same, but is much stronger). Yellow gold is traditional, but be sure to look into the karats. Nine karat does not look as nice and will not hold up as well as 18 karat, but more karats means bigger price tag.
7-Look through catalogs. Once you have a general idea of what you want, leaf through a couple catalogs from different jewelers. This will help you figure out the price ranges as well as familiarize you with some good brand names.
8-Visit your trusted jeweler. Get some references and recommendations for a good jeweler and go down to the store to look at rings. Find a knowledgeable employee that can help address your questions and concerns.

Tips & Warnings
     * Men's rings come in many different styles that are bold and masculine.

     * Consider your cultural heritage - there are styles of rings and stone settings that have traditional meaning.

*Ask your parents about family heirloom rings. A family stone is a great way of passing on tradition and welcoming in-laws to the family.

     * Before buying anything, make sure that the jeweler has proper certification and the stone has it's own "cert" from an industry recognized association.

     * High set rings have a tendency to snag on clothing.

Bridal shower party is one of the most important, joyful and memorable event for a bride–to-be. It is a beautiful custom of the western countries highlighting the value of friends and relatives closest to the bride and congratulating the bride-to-be in an auspicious manner. The hosts show their respect and love by making the party unforgettable by using their Bridal Shower Ideas. They make the party happen by sending every guest the Bridal Shower Invitations.

The people hosting the event use Bridal Shower Ideas for making the event possible and prepare Bridal Shower Invitations to invite the family members and the dear ones of the bride-to-be. Bridal shower Ideas are also given by the friends that are not directly involved in hosting the event but are very close the “to be married” couple. All the friends and relatives who respond to the Bridal Shower Invitations come and express their joy by giving their blessings to the “to be married” couple. They bring along special gifts in order to help the couple financially as well as play a helpful part in their wedding.

Hosting an event requires fair bit of experience, dedication and hard work so that it is as successful as you want it to be. A host of a gathering has to take care of all the people coming and plan the event in an effective and efficient manner so that everything goes well and everyone including the hosts enjoys the gathering.

Bridal Shower Invitations are sent to all the guests, friends and relatives. These Bridal Shower Invitations have their own special value as they essentially define the Bridal Shower Ideas put into the party. Bridal Shower Invitations are very significant from the point of view of the host because they not only invite people but also give importance to the bride-to-be.

While hosting the party there should be different festivities, some creative Bridal shower Ideas need to be implemented so that the event is memorable. Bridal Shower Ideas indicate as to how the event should commence and the Bridal Shower Invitations provide the theme for the event. It is a very important event for the host too as they are the ones closest to the couple.

Relaxed and Memorable Shower for the Bride
A bridal shower is one of those parties that are fun and practical at the same time. The obvious reason for a shower is to give things to the future married couple that will help them establish a home together. But the underlying reason for a bridal shower is that it's a nice occasion for the close family and friends of the bride to spend relaxed time with her before the big wedding day. It's a time for sharing funny stories, for relatives to give advice to the bride, and for friends to show their support. The bride is the princess of the day, so be sure that in your planning you don't do anything that will make her feel uncomfortable.

A bridal shower is commonly hosted by the maid-of-honor and bridesmaids. Although it was once considered poor etiquette for family members of the bride to host the shower, it is now acceptable. Here are some other considerations as you plan a shower:

    * The event is usually held within two months of the wedding, up to two weeks before the big day.
    * Don't invite guests to the shower who have not been invited to the wedding.
    * These days you'll need to decide whether this will be a traditional 'girls only' event or a couples party, often referred to as a "Jack and Jill" shower.
    * Any time of day is acceptable, but most often showers are afternoon events.
    * Games that can serve as ice breakers for the party are a particularly good idea if a large number of the guests don't already know one another.
    * Encourage the bride to register for gifts. With so many couples living on their own before getting married, it's difficult for guests to guess which things they still need.
    * Remind the bride to include a reasonable number of inexpensive items on her registry for guests with limited budgets.
    * Decide whether the party will be held at a home or in a restaurant or other locale. These days many shower planners now choose activities instead of the traditional finger food/gift opening shower. For example, many bridal parties take the bride out for a day at the spa instead of a shower. Or for an active Jack and Jill shower, the party could be a beach barbecue complete with volleyball, Frisbee, music and dancing.
    * Unless you feel it's mandatory to surprise the bride, involve her in the planning. Ask her if there's a particular theme she'd like for her shower. Some popular themes include lingerie showers, kitchen item showers, around-the-clock showers (where everyone is assigned a time of day for which to select a gift) and travel gift showers.
    * Don't forget to give party favors to all guests. These can be traditional favors such as small boxes of candy. Or they can be something that relates to the theme of the shower, e.g. drawer sachets at a lingerie shower.

Let’s face it: not every bride dreams of the bridal shower where she’ll eat cucumber sandwiches holding her pinky finger up all day listening to classical music. There are some brides – human brides – who would prefer something a bit more original and different. There are some great ideals for bridal shower themes for unique brides.

Secret #1: Always think of the bride. When it comes to planning the best bridal shower ever, refer to secret #1: always think of the bride. While the bridal shower may involve family, friends and other loved ones – the bridal shower should be an expression of the bride’s personality and taste. It is the ideal time to say something about who the bride is as an adult woman and to celebrate her becoming a married woman. So begin delving into what she likes, what she doesn’t like and what would make her the happiest. It is in uncovering these answers that you’ll find the perfect shower most often for the “unique” bride.

A bridal shower in a unique place can be an excellent choice. If the bride has always loved the aquarium, see if you can plan her bridal shower there. Or if the bride is a history buff, start researching local historical homes open to the public. You may be surprised at how many places are available for special events. Some cost very little and others are exorbitant. But you’ll only know if you ask….

Sometimes the best unique bridal shower exists in creating the “perfect” menu. Is the bride a chocoholic? Have a sweet chocolate theme and serve only desserts and other tempting treats with coffees and teas. Perhaps the bride has been a margarita girl at heart (and who isn’t?)…then try a margarita shower at her favorite Mexican restaurant complete with Mariachi band. The Asian foods bride would appreciate a sushi themed bridal shower. Or the wine loving bride might especially enjoy a bridal shower in a vineyard that featured a wine tasting. Some brides may be very “into” the menu and with others, this may matter little.

With all brides it is critical that those near and dear to her attend. This is not just the unique bride – but for every bride. To plan the perfect unique bridal shower you need to plan it well in advance so loved ones have enough time to travel or prepare to come. You will have a very disappointed bride on your hands if her great grandmother or college roommate cannot attend.

Don’t go bridal shower-zilla on us when it comes to planning. Most people won’t notice napkins that don’t match, if the favors don’t come or if something is spelled wrong. But they will notice the big things. They’ll notice if the bridesmaids and other ladies planning it are stressed about planning the shower – bridal showers should be fun! Shower guests will notice if you’ve run out of ice or cups or napkins. Anyone else who gets too fussy should be reminded it’s the bride’s day to be the fussy one.
Your Christian wedding ceremony can be personally designed, but it should also be an expression of worship, reflecting joy, celebration, community, respect, dignity and love. The Bible gives no specific pattern or order of service to define exactly what should be included, so there is room for your creativity. A primary goal should be to give each guest a clear impression that you, as a couple, have made a solemn, eternal covenant with each other before God. Your Christian wedding ceremony should be a testimony of your lives before God, demonstrating your Christian witness.
Pre-Wedding Ceremony Events

This should begin at least 90 minutes prior to the start of the wedding and be finished at least 45 minutes before the ceremony.

    * Wedding Party Dressed and Ready
The wedding party should be dressed, ready and waiting in the appropriate locations at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

    * Prelude
Any musical preludes or solos should take place at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
    * ighting of the Candles
Sometimes the candles or candelabras are lit before the guests arrive. Other times the ushers light them as part of the prelude, or as part of the wedding ceremony.

o The Ushers return for the honored guests who are escorted out in reverse order of their entrance.
o Ushers may then dismiss the remaining guests, either all at once, or one row at a time.

Wedding Gifts from the Groom to His Bride

As the love of your life prepares to walk down the aisle to begin your life together, your spirits will be high and emotions run deep. To make this moment and the entire day even more special and memorable, many couples choose to exchange personal wedding gifts.

Couples often swap gifts prior to the actual wedding ceremony. Many choose to exchange presents either at the rehearsal dinner or by way of a messenger on the wedding day itself. In some cases, brides and grooms may choose to trade gifts during the festivities of their wedding day, or sometimes even at the conclusion of the event, once they finally find themselves alone together.

The nature of the gift is a very personal decision. Your bride may not be expecting a large show of emotion or an expensive gift. On the other hand, maybe she’s been hinting around about a paid of diamond studs or a sparkly new necklace. Whatever the case, make sure the gift comes from your heart.

If the budget allows, any gift of jewelry can play the role of a precious part of your wedding day. Diamond earrings will achieve great visibility in almost all the pictures, and they’ll sparkle brilliantly as you sweep her around the dance floor. Likewise with a necklace or tennis bracelet. Think about the message and sentiment you are hoping to achieve, and that, along with the cost, should help to guide your decision.
Here are a few tips for the perfect gift for your bride, according to your own preferences and budget restraints.

On a Shoestring Budget

# A handwritten love letter, spritzed with your cologne
# A book of poetry, highlighted with some phrases you feel relate to your relationship
# A CD with a song you wrote just for her, if you are a musician
# A greeting card with sentiments of how you feel this day
# A handwritten note about how you can’t wait to have her for your wife
# A mixed CD of all your favorite songs
# A poem you wrote for her yourself
# A photo album or photo frame with a favorite picture of the two of you
# A single long stem red rose (“I love you”) proclaiming your love
# A single long stem white rose (“Happy love”) proclaiming your love and excitement for the future

Traditional and Key to the Wedding Day

# A dozen or more beautiful red roses
# A special necklace for her to wear
# A string of pearls for her to wear
# Diamond earrings – girls love them. (make sure her ears are pierced!)
# Fresh-cut flowers with a love note
# Jewelry box and an all-important item for her to wear on your wedding day, with a note that you will be filling this up!
# Monogrammed or embroidered handkerchief
# Tennis bracelet

Fun and Adventurous

# Golf clubs, if you think she’d like them and if you play
# Expensive name brand sunglasses you know she wants but wouldn’t buy for herself
# MP3 player, portable DVD player, or other fun electronic device
# Something to use on the honeymoon, like snorkeling gear or a beach bag with flip flops, a soft new beach towel, and a book you know she’s been wanting

When The Sky’s the Limit

# A full set of matching jewelry
# A special collectible that reminds you of the two of you and your relationship
# A special handbag that you know she’s been wanting
# A portrait, print, painting, or sculpture by her favorite artist
# Cruise tickets booked for a future vacation for the two of you

If your wedding budget is pushing its final boundary, the bride’s and groom’s gifts to each other could be one corner you can cut. This is a time-honored tradition, but it is not practiced in all circles. Some couples consider their wedding bands and the honeymoon itself as their gifts to each other.

If you don’t have the cash but you still want to do something special for your sweetheart on the day of your wedding, write her a special love letter or make her a handcrafted greeting card to express your love for her. Send it by way of one of her bridesmaids before your wedding ceremony and your words will surely touch her heart

Wedding Gifts from Bride to Groom

As you select special wedding gifts for your maid of honor, bridesmaids, flower girl, and parents, don’t forget about that most special someone on your list!

In many circles, it is common for the bride and groom to exchange gifts on their wedding day. Gifts are often swapped prior to the actual ceremony, either at the rehearsal dinner or by way of a messenger on the wedding day. Other times, brides and grooms may exchange gifts sometime throughout their wedding day, or even at the close of the evening when the two find themselves alone at last.
Any gift of jewelry or something like a handkerchief can become a precious part of your wedding day. Your groom can tuck a hanky boasting a personal message from you into his pocket, or he could surely wear a watch, necklace, cufflinks, or other piece of jewelry on the big day. Think about the message and sentiment you are hoping to achieve, and that, along with the cost, should guide your decision.
On a Budget

# Bottle of your favorite wine and a love letter
# Customized calendar with pictures of the two of you

# Gift certificate for an adventure of a lifetime – scuba diving, skydiving, hot air balloon rides or something else up his alley
# Personalized golf balls for the golfer
# Poem display plaque with some sentimental words

Technology at Its Best

# Digital camera
# Digital camcorder
# Flat-screen TV
# GPS system
# iPod or MP3 player

# Video game system

If Price Is No Object

# A print, painting, or sculpture by one of his favorite artists
# A set of golf clubs, if he doesn’t already have them
# Get him that Rolex he’s been eyeing up!

In an effort to save on the extensive costs of a wedding, some couples opt not to exchange gifts other than their wedding bands and the honeymoon they’ll share. If you decide not to swap gifts, consider sending a sweet greeting card or a handwritten love note – something you both can cherish for a lifetime.

Paris
The City of Light  tops the list of most romantic cities, and for good reason. A day spent sipping cafe au lait in a tiny side street bistro, window shopping along the ritzy Champs Elysees, and visiting Sacre-Coeur Basilica for a jaw-dropping view of the city, and all the while eyeing the Eiffel Tower, is enough to make any pair of honeymooners feel like they're floating on air. Pack your itinerary with culture and take in modern art at the Centre Pompidou and classic masterpieces at the Louvre. Spend a leisurely evening people-watching and drinking champagne.
Romantic Must-do Take a stroll along the Seine (the river that cuts through Paris) and admire the scene along the left and right banks. Along the way, spend some time relaxing on the Pont Neuf (the oldest bridge in Paris) and check out the unbelievably beautiful cathedral Notre Dame. At night, visit one of Paris' famous jazz clubs.

Venice
Few images are more emblematic of romance than a gondola ride on the waterways of Venice, the city that came in a close second in our survey. Venice's unique layout -- curvy, narrow streets interspersed with canals -- makes it a wonder to explore. Although you shouldn't miss the major tourist spots like Piazza San Marco, the city's main square, and Ponte dell' Accademia, a bridge across the Grand Canal, you should also take a boat off the beaten path. Travel by a water bus (called vaporetto) to visit the nearby island of Murano, famous for the glass-blowers who practice their trade there, or to the less-traveled Burano, known for its lacework.
Romantic Must-do There's no better way to see Venice than to wander because you can't get lost. Start at Piazza San Marco and see where the side streets take you. Be sure to stop in a bacaro (a Venetian wine bar) for a glass of Chianti in the afternoon.

Rome + Florence
Two more Italian cities finished neck and neck in our poll, each with its own reasons to rank among the world's most romantic cities. Rome has a more energetic feel, and you can spend each day admiring monuments like the Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. The ambience in Florence is all about the Renaissance, so soak in the art of Michelangelo and Botticelli, and marvel at the dome in the Duomo Cathedral.
Romantic Must-do In Rome, sample gelato at Il Gelato di San Crispino and visit some of the city's famous fountains at night. If the Trevi Fountain is too crowded, head to the Fountain of the Four Rivers at Piazza Navona (but throw a coin and make a wish at each). In Florence, climb to the top of the Palazzo Pitti (one of the biggest palaces in the city) for a fabulous view or place a lock on the bridge Ponte Vecchio and throw the key into the Arno River: According to legend, this means your love will last forever.

New York City
What do brides choose as the most romantic city in the United States? None other than New York. There are countless places to have a romantic moment in the city -- a picnic in Central Park, a walk around The Cloisters museum, or a candlelit dinner at One if by Land, Two if by Sea in the West Village. Tourist traps like Times Square are worth a visit if you've never been, but you'll probably have a better time strolling along the side streets of SoHo or relaxing on the lawn amid the skyscrapers in Bryant Park.
Romantic Must-do Walk from Manhattan into Brooklyn across the Brooklyn Bridge (stop at Grimaldi's for pizza), and then along the promenade for an amazing city view.

Honolulu
The islands of Hawaii are known for sparkling water, picturesque beaches, and idyllic sunsets. Honeymoon in Honolulu and you'll find all of that, plus the exciting nightlife and amazing restaurants you'd expect from any major city. Spend an afternoon shopping for clothes, art, and jewelry at the newly rebuilt Waikiki Beach Walk, and take a hike to the top of Diamond Head (a huge volcanic crater).
Romantic Must-do Cuddle up on a bench at the Foster Botanical Gardens, and then take a fun (and frightening) ghost tour. You'll probably need to cuddle here too. See OahuGhostTours.com for details.

Barcelona
Even if you're not architecture buffs, nearly everyone who sees the surreal designs of Antoni Gaudi -- which can be found throughout Barcelona -- is enthralled. The most awesome example is the enormous (and still unfinished) basilica Sagrada Familia, which Gaudi worked on for over 40 years. And don't forget to wander around the cool shops and cafes on Las Ramblas, one of Barcelona's most famous and lively streets.
Romantic Must-do Go to a flamenco show (try a place like Tablao Flamenco Cordobes) and then practice a few of your own moves of this steamiest of dances.

San Francisco
Honeymoon in San Francisco and you're practically guaranteed fine food and a laidback metropolitan vibe. If you can handle the crowds, spend an afternoon eating oysters in Fisherman's Wharf or shopping for souvenirs at Union Street. If not, drive to Inspiration Point in the Presidio for a romantic vantage of Angel Island, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay.
Romantic Must-do Take a walk among the towering redwoods in Muir Woods outside of the city. The drive back into San Francisco will provide one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge imaginable.

Vienna
Austria's capital is totally conducive to taking long, romantic walks. The main streets are laid out in rings, and there are lots of little shops and cafes on streets like Karntnerstrasse. The buildings have the sort of stylized facades that make you really feel like you've traveled to Europe. And don't forget to try a traditional weiner schnitzel, a thinly sliced piece of breaded veal.
Romantic Must-do You can't visit Mozart's hometown without seeing an orchestra. Even if you're not into classical music, a performance by the Vienna Philharmonic can be overwhelmingly beautiful.

London
London is the perfect honeymoon destination for travelers who want the culture of Europe with the convenience of an English-speaking country. There's lots to see in the city's museums (trips to the Victoria & Albert and Tate Modern are a must), and if you're there in season, see a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theater. There's no roof and the space in front of the stage is standing room only. After the performance find a bench along the Thames River (preferably one with a view of St. Paul's Cathedral) and simply enjoy being newlyweds.
Romantic Must-do Reserve a private capsule for a 30-minute ride on the London Eye (it's like a big Ferris wheel that lets you see for 25 miles in each direction on a clear day) with a bottle of bubbly.

Prague
Nothing says "fairytale" like a castle on a hill, and Prague has just that. Even in the winter (when there are way fewer tourists), Prague's dramatic architecture is a wonder. Spend a day exploring Prague Castle and return to the Old Town Square on the hour so that you can witness the chime of the 600-year-old astronomical clock.
Romantic Must-do Have a phenomenal meal right on the river bank at Kampa Park (see a menu at kampapark.cz), and then walk along the Charles Bridge to feel like you've been transported back 200 years.
You were certain you planned for everything -- from the flowers on the tables, to the songs the band would play -- and everything in between.

But experts say if you haven't planned ahead for your bridal beauty and grooming routines you could end up with some wedding-day blues.

Beautiful Bridal Skin

Perhaps nothing is more beautiful than the natural glow of happiness that becomes every bride. But to help that glow along, experts at Bridal Guide magazine say schedule a series of monthly facials beginning as early as six months before your wedding. Bridal Skin Care

Glowing brides are not born that way. Skin care for bride and bridal party is an important part of the pre-wedding process. If you want to know how to make your skin glowing for wedding day joy, there are some universal tips everyone can use.

Be Gentle

Treat your skin with the gentleness it deserves. Wedding skincare isn't about beating your skin into shape, it's about being kind to your skin. Wash with a non-abrasive cleanser and make sure to moisturize after washing.

Watch out for the Elements

The sun can do a lot of damage to your skin. Make sure your lotion or moisturizer as well as the makeup you use on your face has a sunscreen in it. Skin care for wedding beauty will be a lot easier without having to fight against sun damage in addition to whatever else you are trying to correct by the wedding day.

Wear Gloves

When you are gardening, or doing dishes, or anything else where you might do damage to your hands or nails, wear a pair of gloves. Gardening gloves for gardening, and rubber gloves for doing dishes or other wet jobs. This will help your nails stay strong and your skin stay smooth up to your wedding day. And when it comes to your wedding day itself, a pair of bridal gloves could be the perfect addition to your outfit

Exfoliate For Bright Bride

Brighten your skin tone with a weekly exfoliation. Regular use of an exfoliator will help to rid your face of dull skin cells and reveal the fresh skin cells underneath. First wash your face with your usual cleanser, then use the exfoliator of your choice. For an added bonus, use a facial mask designed for your skin type after exfoliation for great results. Facial scrubs, facial brushes and wash cloths are all examples of facial exfoliators.

Skincare Treatments

It can be overwhelming trying to choose special skin treatments, given the array of products available. Here is a simplified skin treatment guide for the bride to be:

Oily/Acne prone skin: Serums and gel treatments are best since they are typically oil free and are applied under moisturizers and makeup.

Dry skin: Milky cleansers and heavy moisturizers work best to cure parched skin.

Aging skin: Skin firming treatments can be done at home or at a spa to lift and firm your flabby facial skin.

Dull skin-tone: A skin energizing treatment revs up the sloughing of dulling dead skin cells from your face. Regular exfoliation treatments will help with this issue as well.

Sensitive skin: Gentle skincare lines with natural ingredients will work best for this skin type. Avoid any added dyes or perfumes when looking for a skincare line for sensitive skin.

No matter what your skin issue, rest assured there is a treatment available for you. Ask your esthetician or dermatologist for additional recommendations for your skin concerns.

Daily Skin Care

Brides will need a series of skincare treatments to get their skin in tip top shape for their weddings, but additionally, they need a good daily skincare regimen. A daily skincare regimen should consist of three things:

1. Cleanse

2. Moisturize

3. Protect

Add exfoliation and treatments into your weekly skincare regimen. Find a great facial cleanser for your skin type and wash with warm water. Cleanse once in the morning and once at night to remove dirt, oil and makeup. Moisturizing your skin is essential for any skin type. Facial moisturizers benefit the skin by adding and locking in much needed moisture. Then, protect your skin by using the appropriate sunscreen. Sunscreen will help to protect you from harmful and dangerous UV rays. To simplify this step, use a day moisturizer that has SPF in it. By adhering to a daily skincare regimen, you will help your skin stay at it's optimal level of health and you will extend the benefits of your weekly or monthly facial treatments

DIY Home Facials

For the DIY bride to be, the budget conscious bride or anyone that wants that spa feeling at home, try a home facial. Done once a month, an at-home facial can make a remarkable difference in your complexion.

Step 1: Cleanse your face and neck, rinse with warm water. Repeat.

Step 2: Massage your face and neck for thirty seconds with a facial scrub. Rinse with warm water.

Step 3: To open your pores use a bowl of hot water to steam your face for a minute or two.

Step 4: Brush a face mask all over your face. Choose a face mask based on your particular skin needs. The mask should stay on for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse the face mask off with cool water to tighten your pores.

Step 6: Tone your skin with a hydrating or clarifying toner, depending on your skin type.

Step 7: Massage your moisturizer into your skin. Massaging the skin with your moisturizer will encourage new cell growth and proper circulation.

Step 8: If you are doing your at-home facial during the day and plan on being outside, apply an SPF of at least 15 to your skin to protect it.

Step 9: Enjoy your fresh face!

Banish Bacne

Wedding dresses often show off a brides back and shoulders. Keep those areas free of acne and bumps with three simple steps.

    * Switch out your typical body wash for an anti-bacterial one to keep acne stimulating bacteria away.
    * Use a body brush or long handled loofah brush to exfoliate your backside.
